Hi,
I'm in my 30's with a variety of neurological disabilities and mental health problems because of it.

A warm welcome and my thoughts are with you too @justTom. How are you feeling at the moment about having the EEG tomorrow?  :)

    Thank you.
I had the EEG but it wasn't quite as expected from my googling.
Finding the ward was chaotic because the hospital had changed around since covid I suspect without changing the signs. I would have gone home early in frustration if my mum wasn't with me.
The nurse (i think) asked me lots of questions which was pointless because I don't remember anything and they also scanned my chest which hadn't shown up in my preparation.
I am now wonderfully if all my diagnoses are linked because I spoke to a psychiatrist a few days earlier.
I wonder where furure treatment will go except for possible medication.
Sorry it's long but thank you for reading.

I'm so sorry it was such a faff for you to find the ward, but glad to hear you had additional support with your mum :)

Hopefully you'll be able to get some more answers soon!

    Thank you, that's great.

Yesterday my mum also told me it says in her mum's diary that I had speech therapy when I was a baby.
This is the first I've heatd of it and underlines my neurological problems.

I know doubt that I have any mental health problems and they are all neurological.
I've been thinking I have pathological demand avoidance but the only symptoms I thought I didn't have was a language delay.

I have a meeting with the occupational therapist assistant tomorrow (Thursday) but can't remember what was plannrd so I might discuss it with her.

    Thank you for reading
