They can 'claw-back' over-payments, but what you might be able to do, is see if you can arrange for over payments to be paid back over time as there is a 'cost of living' crisis. See what they say. Also check the detail of what they are claiming.

This seems to be happening more and more, it's shocking. I've seen people have luck speaking to debt management and explaining they are in financial hardship and asking to pay it instalments instead. Hope you sort something out @middlesex90
