If it’s a phone assessment then it will be a phone call. If it’s a video then it will say video.0

Hello @Moontinkerbell
Welcome to the community!
I have popped your post in our PIP, DLA and AA section of the forum, in case you have any more queries. As Poppy has said, a phone assessment will be a phone call. Keeping everything crossed for your daughters assessment0 -
Let us know how things go with the call @Moontinkerbell, you might find it helpful to read about preparing for your telephone assessment on Scope's website.
A lot of people find it helpful to have notes with them, so they don't forget to talk about everything they need to.
Let us know if we can help further in the meantime0 -
Thank you so nervous nevet had a pip telephone consultation before!!0

New things are always a bit daunting aren't they?
Do you think it would help to have someone else you feel comfortable with in the room with you and your daughter, for emotional support?0 -
Going to see if a friend can be with us!!0

@Moontinkerbell
Hi just wanted to wish yous well for your daughters assessment.
Iv had 2 Face to face assessments, and I just had a telephone one in January just gone. And I preferred it so much more.
Was still a bit anxious but better in my own house. Hope this eases you a bit.
Take care ❤️2 -
@Moontinkerbell
Hi I had my 1st telephone review assessment also via the phone in January roughly the same time as @Lou67.
I answered the call via loud speaker and I told the assessor that she was on speaker and they were OK with that, it reassured me as hubby could hear the call.
Also in the past I've also had a f2f home visit as I'm housebound most days and tbh I much preferred the telephone assessment.
Good luck and this is the place to be for good advice.2
