I’m sure I’m not entitled to any LCWRA backdate but just need to clarify.

Hello
I have looked through a lot of info in posts from the wealth of information from the forum.
I think I have this right from what I’ve read so far,I have just been assessed as having LCWRA on the 7th FEB 2023.My UC assessment period is the 9th to the 8th of the month.
my first fit note was from 10th Aug 2022, I’ve taken the three month waiting into account.
so,I’m I right in that my first payment made on 15th Feb 2023 for the assessment period 9th Jan to 8th Feb is correct and I’m up to date and no backdate is due? Thanks in advance for any help.

Your waiting period will be Sept to Dec.. LCWRA starts from Dec 9th to 8th Jan and first payment will be 15th Jan, so they owe you 1 month not including this month.Had you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note 1 day earlier then your first payment would have been December.1
