My mum is in receipt of AA. My dad is her full time carer. He gets his state pension plus a work pension, would he be entitled too carers allowance of any amount ? Tia

Assuming his SP is more than £****.70 then he cannot be paid CA due to ‘overlapping’ benefit rules.
However if he claims CA he could establish an ‘underlying entitlement’ to CA which would increase his potential entitlement to Pension Credit. Whether or not there is any PC entitlement depends on their joint financial circumstances. You could use a benefits calculator to see it would be beneficial to claim CA.0
