Home warm discount is now a farce, I was refused ,I have disabled partner and 2 disabled children I'm a full time career. I rang help line who just said you don't quality could not tell me why,did some investigation and found out this could be because of my Energy performance certificate (EPC)
more digging shows my council  property doesn't have one. This gives a guide  to how efficient your house is,well i can tell you our property is not efficient our windows are 27years old and have foam around to stop the draft. I have contacted my local MP who is currently on the case for me as something isn't right the government look at this to assess your property I have found out that 1 in 3 properties do not have a certificate As these are a relatively new thing so the government look at the houses that have one and make an assumption on the rest,shocking this is but I am determined to get to the bottom of this, our situation is hard enough.

I have also been refused this year, apparatly the criteria has changed for eligibility
