I have noticed on my universal credit statement today that my carers allowance has not been deducted , and I'm being payed a full amount this month , it's due tomorrow,  should I he concerned? Is it an overpayment? I have not reported any changes ..

You will need to put a message on your journal and tell them. Yes, you will have an overpayment because it should be deducted in full.

Can I just make sure that your UC includes the carers element?

Yes it does include carers element , I was just confused as to why they didn't do any deductions , never had an issue before

This does sound confusing @jamie80, especially as you have never had an issue before 

Would anything, in particular, help to make this more manageable and less confusing for you at the moment?

I'm still none the wiser as to why they did not do any deductions , they've not Evan replied yet or had and any letter from them
