I have had too many years of not being able to manage money due to my disabilities and mental health many times debt plans set up ect I might be ok for a bit then fall off the wagon I am trying to find a solution to this circle the social services have said because I have capacity there is nothing that they can do there is clear evidence with the links between mental health and money management am I just being fobbed off by social services or does anyone know what support is available for people like me

I don't think they are fobbing you off at all. If you have capacity then they can't do anything. If you lacked capacity then they could put a deputyship into place. https://www.gov.uk/become-deputyDo you have familiy that can help you budget a little better?

@just4once Citizen's Advice may be able to help you with money management. Do you have any friends or family you would trust to help?1

They have been very helpful over the years I am looking for a long term solution0

We can hear you are looking for a long-term solution @just4once. I guess this will mainly be about thinking about the particular things you have found helpful and building on that
