early risers or night owls?

Are people on this forums early risers or night owls?  I prefer to go to bed around 4 am and get up at lunch time, so I guess I'm a night owl. It varies though depending on my mood.

Earlier riser.  I get fatigue of vision & muscles by about 8pm, always in bed by 11!

I wish I could be one or the other, I have a built in alarm clock for 3am 🤬 doesn't matter if I sleep at 9pm or midnight, sure makes for a long day 🤣😂🤣

If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said a night owl. As you are asking today though, I will say an early riser!

Like many of you though, I can see how that is shaped by health/disability. Thanks to hypothyroidism, I am too fatigued in the evenings to be a night owl.

I am, however, more energised when I wake up at 5 am to take my medication. In an ideal world, I think I would get all of my responsibilities done early in the day  :p

I'm a bit of both I would say I'm an early riser because even though I stay up late it isn't very late,

I've always been a night owl even when I was a kid, causes loads of issues getting up for school. I hate the day time, I love just walking around at night under the moonlight with the quiet streets and Peace.

Sleep is something that comes every couple of weeks.  Then it's the sleep of the dead.  16 hours my longest.

The rest of the time as soon as my head hits the pillow, no matter how tired I feel ... bang ... wide awake.
It's actually strange how quick time goes between 1 and 7 am.

I'm up all hours of the night  :D I tend to nap during the day for half hour here, or 15 minutes there. I am definitely a night owl. I like being able to get things done in the evenings when it's all nice and quiet :)

    I'm neither!

I go to bed early - 8-9pm, and get up late - 7-8am.

I also often sleep for an hour in the day.

I don't really know why I require so much sleep. Maybe my mind is so active in the day with my obsessive thoughts and gets tired.
