LCWRA & Self Employment

Hi,
Wondering if someone could help as I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
I am on LCWRA and did a change of circumstances on the 1st of Feb as have some home based self employed ongoing work which does does not conflict my award.
I have been told that I need to go to an appointment at the job centre about being self employed. I have no idea what this is about and have a note saying it's about my minimum income and gateway? I was under the impression as I am LCWRA I would not have to attend appointments and this is causing me anxiety.
The appointment has now been changed and rearranged on my journal 4 times. No explanation why. They have also suspended my payment until this appointment and my payment was due on Thursday so I have been unable to pay rent or bills and DD's have bounced. The appointment has now been changed to the 17th.
I'm really confused - is this right?

Hello there @fluffycloud thanks for reaching out, I can understand why you're feeling worried, especially as your appointment has been rearranged so much.
If you have not received an ESA payment, contact DWP. Your work coach will not know why a payment has been missed.
Contact DWP about an existing benefit claim (GOV.UK)
I'm sorry to hear you're now struggling to pay bills as a result, do you have anyone in your support network, any family or friends who could help?
You might also want to look into how to complain about the service you get from the DWP, you can find out more on the Gov.uk website.
If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please ask

If you have become self employed DWP will need to meet with you to amend your commitment and to explain to you what you have to do to report your self employment income and expenses.0

Hello @fluffycloud i am in a similar position to you. If you don’t mind me asking how did the appointment go? Did your LCWRA remain the same. Thank you x0
