Hi everyone

Not a cheerful subject but I am a dad of a beautiful 6 Yr old with asd.i am thinking about my own mortality and want to be proactive in making sure I hsve done as much as I can financially,emotionally and practically to help support her when I die and beyond.does anyone have any advice or can signpost me to a list of suggestions to consider.i kmow I need to consider wills,funeral plans etc but any advice even on those would be gratefully appreciated

    I've had a quick look for potential sources of advice for you, The Good Grief Trust have a 'Things to consider' page, as part of their pre-bereavement advice. It might not be quite what you're looking for but I hope it helps.

    You might also like to contact Cruse, they do have a referral service for children and young adults, but they might also have some pre-bereavement resources available too.

    Thank you for this that's helpful do you hsve any suggestions for practical advice on putting support in place for my daughter after my death e.g what a council should provide,any third sector agency support etc?
