There's huge backlogs so yes receiving the form now sounds correct to me. You will need to make sure you fill out the form and return it with any supporting evidence you have. If you need extra time to return it then you can ring PIP to ask.

When filling out the form you should treat it as a new claim and put as much information as possible. Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you.

You could be waiting a considerable length of time for a decision.

That's correct. There was only 1 cost of living payment for those claiming PIP, which was £150 paid in September 2022. There's another £150 due sometime this summer, no dates have been announced yet.

The PIP forms tend to be sent out about a year before renewal, the same thing happened with my husband
