I'd advise you to ring PIP to ask because only they can tell you what happening with any money that maybe owed.

Hello @cazb81 and a warm welcome to the community. It's unfortunatly not uncommon for there to be a delay in receiving back pay. It's possible that the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is still processing the back pay and it may take some time for it to be deposited into your account. It's also possible that the DWP is still calculating the exact amount of back pay owed to you.
If the decision was made back in February you have waited quite a while already so as Poppy123456 mentions, you might be best off contacting the DWP to inquire about the status of your payment. They should be able to provide you with an update on when you can expect to receive your back pay.

Hi Adrian
thank you for the warm welcome every one has been so helpful and yes it could be a while it says 4 to 6 weeks so will give it 2 weeks from my pay and then call them just incase it gets deposited next week, i feel like they would think i am desperate if i call asking where my money is i am owed lol or judge me 🤦🏻♀️

I'm sure they wouldn't think you're desperate or judge you @cazb81 it's their job to assist with any queries, and you are allowed to ask
I've just moved this discussion into our PIP category, and changed that title so it's easier for everyone to find. That way anyone going through similar can share their thoughts if they'd like- I hope that's okay.
Let us know how you get on, and if we can help further, just shout!0 -
Hi Alex
as suspected my backpay was sent to debt managemnt for dwp i am currently on waiting call to them just now0 -
Also thank you0

Well what a carry on i have had today called debt management for dwp who declined the payment from pip and sent it back to pip way back on 6/3/23 yet pip told me they had not received an e-mail from them yet debt management told me other wise so i am now still waiting to get through to pip again, for anyone going through the same its Deffos worth calling pip or debt place for dwp as i have now waited 4 weeks for a good sum of money that i am entitled to… thanks for everyones help in the last couple of days1
