Hi
Im new here, Im Olivia
i just want some advice really.
My mum has applied for PIP and her form is due back on the 8th April
its all filled in and im picking up her GP letter later this afternoon to add to the other pieces of evidence she has.
I will be sending it all off tomorrow morning, will it get there in time and be acknowledged by DWP before the 8th April do you think?
Thanks

Hi @xxoliviamaebxx - & welcome to the community. If you ask for a Certificate of Posting, which is free from your Post Office, then you will have proof of when your Mum's PIP claim form was posted. Hopefully it won't be needed, but it will give you peace of mind.

thankyou so much for your reply
i think i will do this and pay a little extra (i know its free post) and send it tracked just to make sure it gets there on time.

Hi Olivia. I send mine as 2nd Class Signed for. I paid around £3.0

There's little point in sending forms by any paid delivery as it's just signed for at the mail centre that deals with post for the DWP, & hasn't actually reached the DWP. That's why it's recommended just to get a free Certificate of Posting rather than waste your money.....
