Hi guys, I hope you well, i've recently found out I have touch starvation due to Hemiparesis, do you have any suggestions for that? The practical one
I've heard something about root chakra in you is weak and so on.

I'm unfamiliar with 'touch starvation' myself @Behi, have you spoken about this with your GP or any other professional involved in helping you manage your Hemiparesis?1
-
No i've told my parents about it many times but they don't get it as usual and it is predictable because they don't have it and also because I haven't seen doctors for many years since I am an adult ;and they can't do that much about Hemiparesis . So I am asking here maybe someone has something to share which helps me
But thanks for your response0 -
That's alright @Behi and thanks for explaining, it must be frustrating when those around you don't get it.
To help our members share their thoughts with you more easily, I've moved this post over into our physical and neurological conditions category.
If you feel comfortable doing so, it might be worth checking in with a doctor anyway, especially if this is impacting your wellbeing or mental health. If we can do anything to help support you in the meantime, just ask

Thanks for your consideration
I do appreciate the community because sometimes it is alot to handle by myself alone
And just speak up about it makes me abit better1 -
You can always talk to us @Behi, you never have to face things alone if you don't want to. How have you been more recently?

I don't know much myself, but looked on some therapy websites and this one had some really great advice on coping with being touch starved and wondered if any of these tips could help?
One is about cuddling your pet and it made me wonder, if you have pets? if you are able to have pets? and if you are not able to but are not allergic, maybe volunteering at an animal shelter could be beneficial?1
