Hello, just wondering Why I have received my pip back dated payment today, but not received the letter? Also how long after the backpay am I to wait for the letter.

    Usually money owed is paid before the decision letter is received. This is because it’s not unusual for the post to take more than 3-5 days to arrive. 
    You should allow up to a couple of weeks to receive the decision letter. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    I had the letter show up a week after the backdated cash, so it's not unusual especially since DWP letters take ages to be received.
