Advice about eviction

Hi all,I'm hoping for some advice on behalf of my sister. She is renting from a private landlord who is now selling the property.
She had a court hearing a week or so ago and they were given until May 10th to vacate the home.
So far, local authorities have failed to find them somewhere else to live and things have just got worse.
My sister is registered disabled and yesterday my brother in law had a bad motorbike accident, ending up in hospital where he still is.After having an operation,he is still left with several broken ribs, torn spleen, torn liver and the numerous bumps and bruises that come with that sort of accident.
He is clearly going to be in no state to be much help with a big move.
I wondered if anyone knows if they would be able to apply to the courts for an extension of the moving date for instance.
There are no rent arrears etc,the property has been kept impeccably well and improved in some instances.
They have two children at home, one of whom is a dependant as she's 14.
Oh,we live in Wales if that makes any difference.
Any advice anyone can offer would be great, thank you in advance.

They will need to contact the court to ask to delay the eviction date but they may not be successful with this. There's some information here. https://sheltercymru.org.uk/housing-advice/eviction/court-action/changing-a-possession-order/There are shortgages of social housing, which is likely why they haven't been offered any property from social housing. Are they aware that it's possible they maybe placed into temporary housing, which could be anyway in the country. Do they have their name on the list for social housing?

I managed to find the Shelter info just now let's hope it's some help.
Yes,they are on the list, have been for a while and they definitely know they could be put anywhere,my sister has been worrying herself sick, bless her.
We've arranged between the families that the kids can stay with grandparents and I'm taking their massive dog.
It's just a concern,how to manage a move when the biggest,strongest one is out of action.0 -
