Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well!
I have a question regarding PIP & genetic disabilities.
I was born with my condition but was only diagnosed in 2018. I've been claiming PIP since 2018. Am I wrong in thinking that me and my family should have been receiving help since my birth date?
I was diagnosed in 2018 after being referred to a specialist at the NHS. My condition is vision related and high street opticians never referred me as a child. Do I have any ground to stand on legally and if so what is my best course of action.
Thanks!

A disability doesn't automatically entitle you to any disability benefits. For this reason there's no grounds at all for any legal action.
