Morning lovely people..
Just a quick question, i was recently messaged and to say i have been awarded PIP, i have yet to get the award letter so i gave the helpline a call and went through some options, entered my details and it then said we can tell you your next payment and payment date.
I have read this isnt always correct but i thought i would ask the question
It said i would get £681 as my next payment and the payment date would be the 4th of May, does this sound like it could be the arrears or could it be my normal payment and arrears separately?

The payment details on the automated payment line do no include any money they owe you.As it said your next payment is May 4th I can’t see that being correct if you haven’t yet received the money they owe you.If you want to know when to expect what is owed and what you’ve been awarded you will need to ring PIP to ask.0

Thanks for getting back to me, I think ill just wait and see what happens.
Out of curiosity, any reason you cant see it being correct, the amount or the fact its given a date? or both ha ha0 -
I meant the date as not being correct. The reason being is because you haven't received the money that's owed to you yet and 4th May is 3 weeks tomorrow. PIP is paid every 4 weeks.

Forgot to add, the PIP award txt i got was on the 6th i believe, the 4th of May is 4 weeks from that date, could that be it or am i just barking up the wrong tree?0

Possibly. When you receive the decision letter it will have the details.

Thanks..
Funnily enough, I still haven't got an award letter but this morning I have had a letter from the DWP advising me of the changes in rates lol.. outlining what I was on and what I'm now on, so I now know for sure I'm on the enhanced rates for both.
Do they send the award letters by pigeon lol0 -
@Wilsonwinehouse
Oh that’s great news, I bet you are so relieved, now you can relax and treat yourself with some off your backpay.
