Looking for Remote jobs or jobs working from home . . HELP!!!!
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find jobs working from or Remote jobs. I used to work as a Registered Nurse, however, had to leave the profession due to my health condition which affects my mobility. I can't walk far or stand long and would like part-time work from home... Thx

Hi there @Sunshie20 and thanks for reaching out. I believe on most job search websites, such as Indeed, there's now a search filter for 'remote' work or 'work from home'. Have you been using sites like this?
Best of luck with your search, keep us in the loop0 -
Someone recently mentioned FlexaCareers and Timewise to me they have good filters with disabled people and carers in mind0

Got an account for this forum partially because I am in a similar situation, although I don't know how long it will continue. Thank you for the tips so far!0

@sunshie20 Have you thought about reaching out to Scope's Employment Services for advice?0

NHS Direct / NHS 111 or whatever they're called? I understood that the service was set up particularly with dialed nurses in mind. It's unsocial hours, but could suit your skill set depending on the type of clinical experience you have from the past.0

Hi @lynsteel1735 that's good to hear you had a supportive OH nurse. I had a similar experience myself last year. It sounds like they'll likely put forward some very supportive options to your employer. I hope you're able to get something suitable in place. Please let us know how it goes if you're happy to. ☺️

Hi Holly thank lovely to hear from you how are you doing hope ok I'm very lucky to have her because previous experiences have not been great long story short ( this have been going on for 6 months now) special adjustments they provided a comfortable chair but my job entails being with my lovely patients she's advising them to give me non clinical work or redeploy me which probably wont happen as the hospital has a freeze on jobs cutbacks and partime work doing non clinical for only 1 week and can only for amonth i cannot stand for long periods end up usually in usually in agony I love what I do but know I can't do it now tryed pushing through it but made it worse occupational health report goes to manager and me Monday so I will let you know the outcome you taje care of yourself and thank you xxxx
