Sorry all
A week premature
But at least you should all be aware for next Sunday?1 -
I'd heard of it, but forgotten the date. Thanks for the reminder...although I'll probably forget again by next weekend.0

They already do these alerts in other countries, mainly because they have more severe weather conditions , I know in Canada if someone goes missing they send alerts out too.

Yes, it is the 23rd April at 3pm, so thanks for the reminder @Wibbles1

I`ve disabled that functionality; I`d rather not know I`ve only got 3 minutes left to live. I don`t think the weather has anything to do with implementing this alert, I believe it`s because of events in Ukraine.

I mean it's hardly enough time to unblock the sink is it?1 -
I would find this frightening so I think I will turn mine off.0

well I survived the Cold War back in the day. Anyone remember the so called 4 minute warning?
But in this country I don’t see the point regarding weather etc?
Dont particularly like the idea of the government being able to text so many people…….

@Alex_Scope
Will it actually display the message in Welsh?How will it know who speaks that language?
Or will it go by location?
In which case - what about English people in Wales?0 -
