hi im new to the forum but I am looking for advice. I received my text message this morning for my PIP award. I have tried to call to find out how back dated payments work as I’ve not received my letter yet. I can’t get through to anyone but the automated system has told me my first payment will be in may. Do they pay the back payment and normal payment together does anyone know.
Thank you I’m advance

Money owed is paid first. Then you’ll receive the decision letter. In the letter it will tell you what day of the week you’ll receive your 4 weekly payment.Your first 4 weekly payment will be around 4 weeks after your backdated money.1
