HI To All
Im having a terrible time with my feet, in constant pain and completely fallen arches on both feet with bad overpronation. This all stems from my collapsed/compressed lower lumbar vertebares (L1,L3, L4) and a weak T12. I have seen a Podiatry surgeon whos willing to carry out flat foot surgery 1 foot at a time soon. In meantime i have spent ridiculous amount of £'S on high end expensive trainers, boots, have even had Othortics made by Opcare to provide relief. As a car annalogy im severely struggling to propel my already broken body on 'Buckled Rims' with completely worn out 'Tyres' and the discomfort/pain is making me into a ticking 'Timebomb' and has severly impacted my mental health and for any hope in anything at all. i cant concentrate on the smallest of things, poor memory and all i thing of is 'GET Off Your Feet'. I had a GP appointment this morning asking for an antidepressant change with a pain killing element, only to be refused and told to continue taking Mirtazapine 45mg and the Codeine 30mg for my lower back. The best he did was to re-refer me to CMHT and was told that a specialist can provide other specific medication etc etc. I'm already in recovery from Alcohol of which i used to kill back pain in the 1st place and am 4yrs 3 months clean but i am on the verge of a huge relapse...anything to numb the pain. i'm deeply stuck in a rut with no other help but to fend for myself. I'm thinking of changing GP surgery but yet it has to be somewhere very local due to limited mobility. i dont know what else to do....its getting to a point where i simply dont want to be here anymore. i'm done with this life. Please could someone help/further advise.
Thankyou in advance
