Hi i'm 56 and have scitzoaffective disorder, it took me years to get diagnosed, it gave me a very hard life, i have never met or known anyone with this illness, so i would like to hear about other peoples experiance. Even though im on the right meds now and how to live with this disability it can be very lonely and it would just be nice to share my experiance with people that understand.

Hello there @LISA321 and well done for reaching out
It can be a challenge to put yourself out there, and I hope you find the community a welcoming and supportive place to spend time.
To help our members share their thoughts, I'm going to move your post over into our mental health category, and I'll be editing the title a little. That way anyone with similar experiences can find you more easily.
You're also welcome to come and chat with anyone on the community, and the coffee lounge is a good place to start!
Let us know if we can help with anything further, and I hope you enjoy the long weekend.0
