Hi @Rachtheamp! Welcome to our forum, lovely to meet you!!I am from South Yorkshire, so we are neighbours:-)You sound like very positive person, I like you straightaway:-)How is your long weekend going? You mentioned you are working full time, that is amazing! May I ask what do you do?
-
Aaw, thanks, Superbetty! Yes, we are neighbours for sure ☺️ My weekend is going well, thanks. I work full time working for a huge company called Capita, I’m a pensions administrator, currently working on a project for them. I work from home but I can go into the office too, which is 20 miles away from my house, if I feel like having a bit of company! Mainly I stick to working from home though due to the logistics of me getting to the office, which involves a 15 minute wheelchair walk to the railway station, then an 11 minute train journey, then a 2 mile taxi ride at the end! I get tired working full time and running a home too, but the positives out way the negatives really, as I love the company and friendships I’ve made at work plus most days, I enjoy the actual job too. I hope that you are doing well and take care 💗

@Superbetty Hi again! Just getting used to the ropes of this forum and forgot to post to you directly with @Superbetty. I sent you a message back in the chat. I’m a bit hopeless with tech at times 😂. Hope your weekend is going well too 💗

Hi @Rachtheamp,lovely to hear you like your job, you are very lucky person:-) I am completely hopeless with tech, my biggest acheievement is knowing how to make screenshot on chromebook, that's it! I am just waititng for my daughter to come back with shopping, and then we are making pizza:-)Have a lovely afternoon, have a look around here, there are lots of discussions you can join in, and obviously you can always start new one:-)Take care and talk to you soon:-)

@Superbetty Hi again, thanks, yes, I’m happy I love my job too. I have the odd bad day at work but that’s normal, I guess. I’m in a great team and we are diverse bunch of people who are all supportive of each other, so that is what makes it so good, really. I don’t know if you work or not, but it may be worth looking at Capita’s website if you are looking for work…in fact I feature in one of their videos regarding working with a disability. Have a lovely Monday and enjoy your pizza 🍕! 💗

@Rachtheamp pizza was great, thank you:-)Just watching The trip on Netflx, weird movie, but I like weird movies:-) Thank you for recommending Capita, sounds like great place to work! I have a job, just off now because I have a bad knee, but I really hope to go back there, we will see. Have a lovely afternoon, I am going back to my movie:-)
-
@Superbetty I hope you enjoyed your movie and glad you have a job…hope your knee improves soon and you feel better. Have a good week! Speak soon 💗
