PIP-Cost of living payment
Hi
I made claim for PIP 14th Feb 2023 assessment May 10th, DWP recieved report May 12th, i telephones and requested copy of which I received today May 13th which I’m pretty lucky with, after reading other people’s encounters. My question is from looking at report I will be getting an award however I’m aware they can go against assessors report. But my question is if I’m awarded it because it would be backdated to feb 14th does it mean it would trigger cost of living payment entitlement as the period to be entitled to cost of living payment would fit with that time. If that makes sense.

The PIP cost of living payment of £150 for 2023 isn't due to be paid untill sometime this summer. They haven't yet announced the criteria or when it will be paid. If awarded PIP you will need to wait until they announce the criteria.
You won’t qualify for the £301 cost of living payment because of a PIP award.0 -
Argh I see thank you so much for your reply. I was getting a bit muddled. I’m not entitled to the £301 anyway as nig in recipet if any qualifying benefits. X0
