Say your pay day was the 10th May, your next payment should be due on the 7th June. This gives the example of being paid on a Wednesday and counting 4 weeks each week after on a calendar.

Your payment day will always be the same every time. If your payment day is a Wednesday and your last payment was Wed 19th April... you then count 4 weeks from the following Wed so it will be 26th April (1) 3rd May (2) 10th May (3) 17th May is payment date.

You times the weekly amount by 4 to get the 4 weekly amount. PIP isn't paid monthly.

That's impossible because it's a weekly benefit paid every 4 weeks. If your last payment was 27th April, your next payment will be 25th May, which is 4 weekly. If it was monthly then you'd be receiving it on the same date every month but the date always changes. The day is always the same.

You seem to be getting confused between monthly and 4 weekly payments. What was the dates of your last 2 PIP payments please?

The problem with "4 weekly" and "monthly" is that some people think of 1 month as 4 weeks when in reality, this isn`t the case.
If paid monthly, only 12 payments are made, yet if paid 4 weekly, 13 payments are made so one 4 weekly period in that year has 2 payments.
    Clear as..... mud :)

    Indeed, there's 4.3 weeks in a month.
