Hi, I left a relationship about 5 years ago where i was mentally abused, i need to move from the area i'm living as it's bringing back memory's, i'm trying to move but i'm finding it hard because i'm universal credit

It must be difficult having to manage this while trying to move, have you spoken to anyone about how it's making you feel? If you need ongoing support, it's never too late to contact Victim Support for help. They can also support you in reporting abuse if this wasn't done at the time.
Just so that I understand more fully, are you looking to rent privately, or move into supported accommodation?0 -

Shelter does have some information on finding landlords who accept benefits, and they do have a helpline and webchat you can use to speak to their advisers, if that's helpful.
