Please if you know I could get a house through social services for me and my mentally ill son?

What are your current living arrangements? What's the reason why you would like to move house?

What's the reason for wanting to be rehoused? You can refer yourself and your son for a needs assessment for your local Authority. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/ They will look to see what help, (if any) can be given. You can also put your name down on the social housing register. Usually you need to have either lived in the area for a certain amount of years or have a local connection to the area for them to add you to the list. It's not a quick process by any means and even if your name is on the list you could be waiting many many years before you're rehoused.
