Hi @ChrisseyB and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you doing?
It's good that you've submitted an online claim for PIP. How did you find the process?
In terms of the telephone assessment, the assessor will go through some of the PIP activities with you and ask how your condition impacts your ability to complete them. So feel free to take your time, and give examples of ways you struggle, who helps you, what you find difficult etc. Remember, if you can't do something reliably - that is 'safely repeatedly, in a reasonable time’, and ‘to an acceptable standard’, then you won't be considered fully able to do an activity.
Practically, if having someone with you for support helps, then they can be with you. Have a drink to hand and don't forget to keep your phone charged if using a mobile
I hope you're having a lovely day. Just let us know if we can support you in any way and we'll do our best
Good luck.
PS: I've tweaked the title of your thread and moved it to our PIP, DLA and AA category to help others find it more easily.0 -
