They are 2 completely different benefits. If found to have LCWRA then it will not affect your housing element. LCWRA will increase your maximum UC entitlement by £390.06/month from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. For the WCA you should be referred on about day 29 after you reported your health condition. In some cases it can be on day one. When you're referred you will receive a letter on your journal. A few days after that you will receive the UC50 form in the post. You will need to fill that in and return it with your supporting evidence. Once they receive it back you'll likely need an assessment because most have them. There's some information here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/universal-credit-if-you-have-a-disability-or-health-condition-quick-guide/universal-credit-if-you-have-a-disability-or-health-conditionThis link says ESA but the WCA for UC is identical. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/employment-and-support-allowance/help-with-your-esa-claim/esa-medical-assessment/
