Tribunal and a little win

My head went and I stepped away from here for abit,  I’d previously posted my MR was refused and then I put in for the appeal, and now they have until 13th July to respond.  So many times I’ve thought of giving up, throwing in the towel …  I’m now waiting for their response before I send in additional information.

Today, I’ve heard I’ve been awarded a blue badge by the council 😊 it’s a little win but will make life so much easier for me.   For once I haven’t received a No

Be aware that DWP frequently fail to meet the date they are supposed to reply by so doesn't worrying it they don't reply by 13th July. The tribunal will then likely give them a bit longer but, in due course, tribunal will proceed without a response from DWP if they fail to respond.

Well done for persevering! I was exactly in the same position over a year since I put my first application in for PIP got refused then went down the MR route still refused so decided to go down the tribunal way. Got advice first from CAB because I didn’t know if I was strong enough to deal with it but carried on and it’s a long hard slog !! And there were days after sending in evidence kept getting knocked back and at one point was going to withdraw my appeal BUT then I got angry with myself and told myself that I’d only be giving in again to someone if I didn’t pursue it !

had my tribunal on the 6th June and won !! Just further waiting now to hear from DWP but like you have said persevering and fighting can pay off .

    And welcome back !
