Pip law change and working tax credit

Hello, I recently received some back pay due to changes in law in 2016 which ment my pip award changed to enhanced from standard.
Does anybody know if my working tax credits should be backdated as this would mean I should have had the severe disability element?

Hi I’m sorry I don’t know the answer to this but wanted to bump your post back up incase anyone that can help will see it better.
Great news on your award changing the same thing happened to my sister, a couple off weeks ago got a call and was awarded a large lump sum that was owed and her award went from standard to enhanced also.Good luck1 -
You need to phone Tax Credits tomorrow to request this is actioned.1
