At the mo I have an ongoing complaint with the dwp since 2019  which is now at the stage of me asking my mp to forward to the ombudsman

What I wanted to ask is if anyone has heard of back dating of uc capability for work payments

I received back dated payments from 2019 - 2022 which I think shows a serious error by the dwp

I've heard of 3 months backdating but never 3 years

@messym Welcome to the community! I hope your MP will be able to support you with the complaint :) Just to let you know I have popped your post into our Universal Credit Section of the forum.

I haven't heard of them back dating that far, I hope you get an answer soon :)

Yes, they have been known to backdate it for that long. What's the serious error?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
