PIP back pay

I’ve recently been awarded both enhanced rates , to be told I may not be getting my back pay , was backdated to July last year ( having treatment for breast cancer) said they’re looking if I owe anything which I don’t

If you don't owe them anything then you will receive the money that's owed. I'm assuming it's been sent to debt management?
