Isotroinen destroyed my spine, not sure if i can name that drug here, been banned for just talking about it in other places. I have just been placed on the scrap pile.0

I can't get out and about now as i have no car, my wheelchair won't fit in my wife's nissan pixo. I was hoping for the high rate mobility from pip, but it's been 7 months since the renewal lol0

Hi Gustav, well done for reaching out. There are plenty of people to talk to here. Do you have any interests that you can do? Also what are the things you wish you can do if you manage to get transport?0

That's difficult for you then to get out, I don't really know how long pip takes with that but I would of thought 7 months is too long without an update.
Hopefully you get a response.
Have you thought about using other transport like wheelchair taxis? To get you places. Some towns have transport like mine which offer door to door service. Might be something like that in your area.0 -
I phoned pip today and she told me 30 weeks is timespan for renewal, They received my forms on Feb 8th.
Was just hoping to connect to other people that are just lonely like me

Hello @Gustav
Welcome to the community! I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling so lonely. I hope the community can be a great support for you, and somewhere to make new friends! We tend to have lots of conversations over in the Coffee Lounge. Play games, have debates and generally get to know each other. I hope you join in0 -
I'm definitely lonely. I'm grateful for the online interactions I have, it's not the same as real life socialising though.
But the answer to your question is no, it doesn't have to be. Depends on your limitations, and local accessibility, as well and money and time, but there a lot of disabled people who find ways to reduce loneliness.0
