Hello!
I am currently claiming univeral credit and getting additional support for LCWRA. My grandmother has recently passed away and left me £2000. I have no savings and this will be used to pay off debt.
Must I inform the DWP of this inheritance or only if it is over £6000?
Thank you.

Savings of less than £6,000 are ignored and you do not need to inform UC.
