So I’ve had my assessment and since then I have received a couple of texts and now have received two letters one asking me to just sign my signature as my appointed person signed my about my disability form and another asking to put my bank details down I am unsure wether I have been given an award or what it is if I have ? Has anybody body else had contact like this ?

Hi Dan
Welcome to Scope
It just sounds like the DWP are doing standard admin. So nothing to worry about. When you start thinking about your PIP Claim, distract yourself, listen to music, read, watch TV, etc to calm yourself down. Unfortunately, you can get wrapped up in your PIP claim, but have no control over it.1 -
Hi @danaitch and welcome to the community. I'm sorry to read how anxious you're feeling waiting for the outcome of your PIP claim.
@rebel11 has given some great advice above. You would think them asking for your bank details would be a good sign but we'd only be guessing. Have you or your appointee requested a copy of your assessment report?0 -
No who do I ask for that ? @Adrian_Scope0

You can call the PIP helpline and request a copy of the assessment report @danaitch. Please keep in mind that while some people find it helpful to see what's been recommended, others find it can add to their anxiety looking over every little detail the assessor has reported, especially if there are inaccuracies. It's also only a recommendation for the decision maker and sometimes the decision makers don't go with the assessment report.
