Hi I’ve just filled pip forms out 2 weeks ago sent registered post but not received any texts off pip is that normal

It is unfortunately, some people don't receive a text until the forms are being looked at and it can take up to 12 weeks.0 -
Thank you for your reply I thought they sent txts on and off through it what if through the claim your circumstances get worst or another sytom needs to be added thank you0

Yes they do sometimes send texts with updates. Although you sent it signed for delivery, this means nothing at all for DWP. It still has to go through the standard mail sorting process and post going to DWP isn't classed as arriving until it's been added to the system. It's not unusual for it to take a few weeks for this to happen. It's a waste of money sending anything to DWP this way. Proof of posting is all that's needed, which is free from any post office.

If this is a new claim it could be several months, possibly longer. If it's a review then potentially up to a year, maybe longer.
