Hi! When will PIP payments stop if negative decision?

Hello I'm wondering if anyone can give me so.e helpful advice, I had a pip review form last year which my daughter helped me fill in around October,  I finally had my assessment by video assessment last week and today received a message from the DWP saying they had made a decision and I would be getting a letter in about 2 weeks but not to phone because I wouldn't be told the decision over the phone,  to be honest that's the worst thing they could do to me  because 1 of my many issues is anxiety and obviously this is making me anxious because on my last review they just stopped my pip without a letter or notice and I had to go to court where luckily they didn't agree with the decision made and rewarded me my pip back with back pay, I'm worried they are going to just stop it again and my disabilities are a lot worse now than last time and rely on the money which is due in the bank Sunday to live and pay my bills,  would they just stop my payment on Sunday without informing me or would they still pay this payment,  I know this is thinking on the negative side of things but I would rather do that than be upset later on, has anyone else had a text like this and their claim be successful,  thanks for taking the time to read if you have.

First of all welcome to the Scope Community @Mammabear54

With your past experiences I'm not surprised you are so anxious about this. Just having your benefits removed with no warning would be an incredibly stressful experience for many.

Do you remember the end date from your original decision letter before this review started? Have you tried calling if you no longer have the original letter, asking about it, and asking them about your next payment? Not about the decision, just about the next payment. When is it due, how much, for example?

Citizen's advice has advice if your fears are realised If your PIP is stopped or reduced - Citizens Advice. We are also here for help and support. There's methods and processes to help you if this does happen.

Please keep us updated, if other issues arise just let us know.

I've moved this to the PIP section so it's more easily seen by people with good knowledge of PIP and the DWP's processes.

If you've been refused with this review then payments will stop on the date the decision is made. Any new decision overrules your current award.
