    Can I ask what the loan or grant is for? There can sometimes be grants to help with certain issues, you can find some advice on that here Grants and sources of money | Disability charity Scope UK

    If you are concerned if a loan or grant will affect your PIP then you shouldn't worry, as it will not.
    You will still need to make the lenders eligibility criteria, but there is no reason you cannot get a grant or loan on PIP and doing so will not affect PIP as it is not means-tested.

    I'm just going to move this discussion to the PIP section so it's more visible to people with good PIP knowledge.
