hi . my disabled adult son(asd/skitsophrenia) has recently gone into his own flat . 24/7 supported . my question is will his pip and other benefits payments be automAtically chamged to them from his father who currently has all his money going into his own bank account .
and at the moment is only payin over an allowance to my son . not all of what he recieves ? plus dad has a mobility car that comes out of my sons pip payment . i personally wan tto see the lot going over to his new carers and saved for him . does anyone know what will happen . ? thanks

The appointee will remain in place as it is unless his father or your son or even yourself (if you have concerns) asks for it to be removed. See link https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/removing-an-appointee/?gad=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvdL2yaz3gAMVGLztCh2MygnGEAAYASAAEgJslfD_BwEAs your son is no longer living with him then his father should really speak to motability to tell them where the vehicle is being kept. It may not be possible to continue to keep the vehicle there but it will depend on the distance between them.0
