Insurance travel

Hubby and I want to go on a cruise he has controlled heart disease and I have a few issues and they quoted 1220 for 14 nights Caribbean cruise. Madness any tips.

The best I have found personally was Money Supermarket, it asked my health conditions followed by a few brief questions about them and compared different insurers, I now have annual cover via Admiral and it was quite cheap too. If you have Top Cashback or Quidco you'll often get around 15-20% cashback too, I got a nice amount back.2

Unfortunately neither myself or my wife can travel outside of the UK due to insurance cover not being offered.
I did try to apply a year or so ago to go to France and Staysure was the only one willing to quote - £1765 each for a 5 day trip To Normandy to visit WW2 family graves.1 -
