Will it matter if my friend will be under a different council what will happen when she tells them she's moved address she get housing element also and lives with her partner

Once they move house she needs to report a change of circumstances. Then tell them she’s moved house.

If my friend updates it that she now has less than 6,000 in savings too what will happen her and her partner together

Hi @bigaxedwarf (loving the name btw!)

 If you are in a couple but have to make a claim as a single person, your partner's capital/savings will still be taken into account. Any capital/savings you have under £6,000 is ignored. Anything over will be taken into account over how much UC will be received.
