Hi @anne67c, I hope the scan gives you some of the answers you're looking for. It can be so worrying when you don't know what it is. Chronic pain can be the symptom of so many issues and anxiety can play on you.
Good luck and the community is always here for you1 -
I've been taking co-codamol, which contains codeine, which will bind you. But you can get lactulose over the counter to help with that. I use meditation on youtube to deal with anxiety, it can help.

@anne67c I can understand your pain. If you are in contact with your GP maybe it will be a good idea to keep them up to date with how your pain is, by them seeing that you complaining about pain, they may be able to prescribe painkillers to help with pain management. It takes a lot of convincing, but it will be effective. Unfortunately, I had to do this for anything to be done.1

Jules is right, you will have to keep at them, it means callbacks but you need to let the GP see you are in real need..I have been through this recently with severe back pain caused by disks. I don't like GPs attitude to back pain.

@anne67c It may be worth discussing with your doctor about being referred to the pain clinic? They have specialist advisors that may be able to help support you further0
