Cost of living payments

Hi all I'm confused with this assmeant period mine was 18th August to 19th of September does that mean I will not get the cost of living payment even though I got uc in August and September

I note from previous threads that you've been claiming UC for quite a while, is that correct?The qualifying period for the next CoL payment is you must have received a payment or been entitled to a payment of UC for an assessment period (AP) that ended between 18th Aug to 17th Sept 2023.As your APs are 19th to 18th of every month. Your qualifying AP would be 19th July to 18th August and not the Aug/Sept AP. Therefore if you were entitled to a payment of UC for 25th August you will be entitled. Remember, it's when the AP ended that counts.

Hi poppy I got payment of uc in July and August and September so I will get this then its very confusing0
