How long are people currently waiting for decision/payment, after Pip telephone review in Northern Ireland?

Timescales are the same everywhere, up to 12 weeks after the report was returned to DFC/DWP. If this is a first time claim and you're successfully awarded, without transferring from DLA then any money owed to you will be in your bank 3-5 working days after payment was made.

It is an ongoing claim, have just done review 3 weeks ago, have heard of people receiving their back pay 2-3 weeks after review in NI.0

As it's a review, if it was started by DFC then usually they don't backdate an award, if the new award is higher than your current one. However, due the delays with review decisions the decision maker is using their own discretion on whether to backdate an award to an earlier time. Some do and others don't.0

Hi @Betts24, welcome to the scope community
As Poppy has said it can take quite some time for get decisions made and can vary quite a bit region by region. The DWP don't exactly give out the current wait times unfortunately so it's very hard to answer such a question. Part of me wonders if we could try setting something up on the community where people can input when they reached certain steps in the PIP process, we might get an idea...
Do let us know how you are getting on and when you do get a decision.1 -
