Hi, I put my Pip review in at the end of March had a text in July saying they wound processing my form soon next week will be 32 weeks is this normal, I am a year off retirement age although I am medically retired, do you think I should here soon. Thank you in advance.

It's normal for a lot of people at the moment. There are very long delays with review decisions. The text you received is just a standard text.I'm afraid i can't tell you how much longer you'll be waiting. You will most likely need an assessment because most people have them. They are mostly by telephone, some are face to face or video.Once you reach state pension age your PIP will continue for as long as you remain entitled to it. Being medically retired is irrelevant for PIP.0
