Hi, my name is poolgirl! Will my award be backdated?

Hi all I rang pip in August due to worsening conditions. I sent form back in with a letter from OT. I received a text on Wednesday  saying my review is complete and to wait for my letter. I didn't get called in for an assessment

    If I'm awarded a higher amount will it be backdated . Does anybody know please

    Hi @poolgirl, welcome to our community :) I'm sorry to hear your condition has worsened. How are you doing today?

    From what I can see, because you reported the change then the award, if higher, should be backdated to the date you informed them. I hope you get the answer you were hoping for, we're here if you need more advice!
