Hey guys so I missed my pip video call as I’m bad with appointments with other things and I got a call and they said they would just do a phone call assessment.
The guy was nice and was very supportive and telling the stuff I could get it awarded pip and just gave me lots confidence that I was getting it and I am very worried that I got my hopes up and now everywhere is saying 9-12 weeks waiting
i done scoring a few times and been trying work it out and keep getting higher rate.
Just a little blah right now

I'm glad to hear the assessor was nice and supportive. Though he shouldn't have said anything to you about any award because it's not their place to do that. Now the assessment is complete, a report will be written and returned to DWP. Then a decision can take up to 12 weeks.0

Hi @lmxo, well done for getting through your phone assessment, glad to hear that they were supportive.
It's really hard not to worry about it and the not knowing is so horrible, but just try to take care of yourself and keep distracted. There's not much more you can do until you hear back. Do you have any friends or family that you can chat it through with?
Hope it's a positive result for you1 -
Not really and I’m just struggling with it all and cried on the phone, it’s not nice having to admit everything that is wrong with yourself
but thank you RosieRosie_Scope said:Hi @lmxo, well done for getting through your phone assessment, glad to hear that they were supportive.

Sorry to hear that, @lmxo. It's not a nice experience and can make you feel so rubbish afterwards.
We are always here if you need any support or distractions. Lots of us have been through it too and understand completely where you're coming from
